Greg Wilson

Greg Wilson is Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector’s Chief Technology Officer for Government. His role is to help global Public Sector Government clients and partners to work with Microsoft technologies to achieve more by empowering growth, innovation, and digital/AI transformation.  He oversees support around the globe to Government Public Finance, Public Safety and Justice, Government Operations, Critical Infrastructure and Public Health and Social Services Partners and Customers.  Prior to his current role he was Microsoft UK’s National Technology Officer and focused predominantly on the National Security sector cloud, data and AI solutions.

Alvin Kanniah

Alvin Kanniah is a HR Leader, Mentor, and Speaker with over 20-years of multi-disciplined experience.

Alvin discovered an affinity for the HR profession having being drawn to have deep and meaningful conversations on what makes an organisation tick – its People. He earned his Masters in Business Administration, with Specialisation in HR Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Merle Fernandez

Merle Fernandez brings 26 years of experience as a Legal Counsel and Company Secretary. As the Chief Legal Officer, she is responsible for all legal affairs of the corporation, including providing legal counsel to the Board of Directors, chairman of the Board, Chief Executive, and Senior Management. She is also HRD Corp’s company secretary, where she provides her expertise in corporate governance and ensures the organization’s regulatory compliance. Prior to joining HRD Corp, Merle practiced law for a few years before working with the Antah Healthcare Group for 12 years and the FGV IFFCO Group of Companies as Head of Legal and Company Secretary for 7 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of London, Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) and is a licenced company Secretary with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia. Lim Chee Gay

A highly accomplished and respected businessperson and HR icon in the HR world. With over 25 years of experience in HR, manufacturing, IT, and supply chain, Chee Gay has honed his expertise and reinvented HR practices to transform businesses from the outside-in.

He has led diverse and large teams globally, holding management and board positions at country, regional, and global levels. He is also a renowned global speaker, sharing his knowledge and insights on Future Workplace, HR transformation, Lean, 6 Sigma and Project Management.

acumen, Prakash excels in leadership development, C-suite management, and

Yun-Han Lee

Yun-Han is a Director with Deloitte Consulting Southeast Asia’s Human Capital practice focusing on organisation transformation, enabling change and adoption, leadership development, and strategic workforce planning.

He is the Organisation Transformation Leader for Malaysia and Vietnam, and the Change Management Offering Leader for Southeast Asia, based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He has 17 years of experience in human capital consulting, helping businesses and governments in Southeast Asia achieve better human outcomes. He is a regular speaker with clients and the media on Deloitte’s Human Capital Trends and the Future of Work.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Yun-Han has held several practice leadership roles in Big Four and multinational management consulting firms.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce – majoring in Accounting and Finance – from The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Fong Tuan Chen

In his role with Maybank, Fong Tuan leads people strategy, practices and policies to
accelerate a transformative, purpose-driven workforce. He is a Chartered Fellow of
CIPD, UK and a qualified professional engineer, holding a first class honours degree
in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, an MBA in Organizational Behaviour and a
CFA. He is currently a Doctoral candidate researching on the reliability of quantitative
correlation between psychometric traits with success profiles.
He started his career with Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia’s power utility company, where
he was a scholar, subsequently leading and holding senior HR leadership roles for
global MNCs and blue-chip corporations: Coca Cola, OCBC, Watson Wyatt, British
American Tobacco, Maybank Group, B. Braun, Samsung and most recently, he
headed HR for one of Malaysia’s largest and most diverse consumer group – Berjaya
Corporation. Fong Tuan has been personally recognized regionally including HR
Icon 2023 -100 Top HR Leaders in South East Asia, 40 Most Influential HR Leaders
in Southeast Asia 2022 and HRM Asia Watchlist 2018.

Shahryn Azmi

Shahryn Azmi is co-founder and CEO of MakeTimePay, Malaysia’s fastest growing gig employment portal, a venture predicated on the basis that employment opportunity should be democratised. In other words, everyone should have an equal chance of working, something he says, is not the case today because the market and ecosystem leans in favour of the educated and connected.
In his 35+ years of professional experience, he has worked in twelve different industries, living and working in seven different countries. He started in technology, then went into defence advisory, oil and gas, strategy, healthcare, telecommunications, organizational consulting, and attraction design and development. He spent a number of years working for the Prime Minister’s Department in the drive to improve public service delivery. In 2014, he was headhunted into Khazanah Nasional to head the effort to manage the human aspect of the closure of the national airlines, MAS. That remains until today, the country’s largest corporate lay-off involving 20,000 workers. That Khazanah unit was closed in mid 2020 as a result of decisions made by the Government elected in 2018, but in those six years of operation, over 70,000 individuals benefitted. His lay-off, however, was the impetus for the establishment of his current venture, MakeTimePay.
Shahryn has a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics, and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University while also cross registered at Harvard Business School, proof he says that you don’t have to be an accountant to be effective in business.

Dr. Syukri Sudari

Dr. Syukri Sudari, an accomplished HR leader with over two decades of expertise, currently serves as the Group Chief People Officer of AFFIN Bank Group. Holding key positions in organizations such as Vice President of the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), Board Member of the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDCORP), the National Labor Advisory Council (NLAC), and the Malayan Commercial Bank’s Association (MCBA), Dr. Syukri is a recognized innovator in HR, receiving numerous awards. Spearheading transformations in employee experience, culture, talent management, and rewards, he leads digital innovation initiatives with robotics and artificial intelligence. Actively engaged internationally with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Employers (CAPE), and the ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE), Dr. Syukri Sudari’s mantra is “Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Better!”

Dr. Anna Tavis

Dr. Anna Tavis is Clinical Professor and Chair of the Human Capital Management Department

at NYU’s School of Professional Studies. As Department Chair, she leads three MS degree programs in the Human Capital Management Portfolio: Human Capital Management; Human Capital Analytics and Technology and Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting. Additionally, Dr. Tavis manages five HCM certificate programs. She is the co-author of Humans at Work. The art and practice of creating the hybrid workplace. (Kogan Page, 2022). Her upcoming book The Digital Coaching Revolution (Kogan Page, 2024) is scheduled for launch in the spring 2024.

 

Prior to joining the NYU faculty, Dr. Tavis navigated a diverse global career in business, consulting and academia. In business, Dr. Tavis was the Head of Motorola’s EMEA OD function based in London, Nokia’s Global Head of Talent Management based in Helsinki, United Technologies Corporation’s Chief Learning Officer, and she was the Global Head of Talent and Organizational Development with AIG Investments. In academia, Dr. Tavis was on the faculty at Columbia University, Williams College, and Fairfield University.

 

Two of Dr. Tavis’ Harvard Business Review articles in collaboration with Dr. Peter Cappelli : “HR Goes Agile” (2018) and “The Performance Management Revolution” (2016) were published in HBR’s “Must Reads” (2016 & 2018), and “Definitive Management Ideas of the Year” (2016 and 2018) and in “Agile: The Insights You Need from Harvard Business Review” (2020).

 

Dr. Tavis is a frequent presenter at international conferences on the topics of Future of Work; People Analytics and Technology; Employee Experience; and Intelligent Automation in the Workplace. She is a Senior Fellow with the Conference Board and is the Academic in Residence with Executive Networks. She is the former Executive Editor of People+Strategy Journal, a publication of SHRM’s Executive Network and she is currently an Associate Editor of Workforce Solutions Review, a publication of the International Association for Human Resource Information Management.

Michelle Yong

Michelle Yong, is a seasoned HR leader with an impressive 15-year career.

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Finance, enabling her to have a unique blend of
psychological insight and financial acumen an important combination for her
profession in corporate world. Michelle has an extensive HR experience in
industries such as FMCG, Consulting to Oil & Gas working in MNCs and
Fortune 500 companies like British American Tobacco, Accenture, Mondelez

Rony Amborse Gobilee

Rony Amborse Gobilee has been in the human capital development field for 25 years; more than 20 years in HRD Corp and the remaining was in multi-national corporation (manufacturing). His current portfolio includes the formulation and execution of strategies as well as the National Human Resource Centre (NHRC), which include the functions of research and development. Suryo Sasono

Suryo Sasono is a Senior Vice President at Bukalapak, a publicly listed E-Commerce Company with offices in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, and South Korea.

Suryo is responsible for overall Human Resource function within the company, including talent acquisition, employer branding, learning and development, rewards, hr business partner, and people operations for Indonesia and International Offices. Suryo lead a team of HR leaders and reports directly to the CEO.

Ku Sim Ling ‘Aunty HR’

Dr. Loo Leap Han

Dr. Loo has more than 23 years of HR industry experience in manufacturing, infrastructure construction, and healthcare. Currently, he is the Head of People at Infinity Logistics and Transport (Group) where he oversees the people agenda. His current job profiles are responsible for the people & culture strategy, and for implementing group strategic human resources initiatives. Throughout his career, he has gained vast experience in the HR subject matter of talent acquisition & management, employee competency gap analysis, HR financial and costing, organizational development & culture, employee engagement, human resource practices & process improvement, and people development. Under his leadership, he achieved the Top 100 Asia’s Best Employer Brands 2019 by the World HRD Congress and Employee Experience Awards 2021 for Best Onboarding Experience. He was featured as the Cover Story for Human Resource Magazine, Malaysia in 2019 and 2021 and People Matters (Global) Magazine in 2020 & 2022, and ETHRWorld Magazine in 2022 sharing his HR achievements story, HR practices, and future HR trends. Dr. Loo earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management from the University of Malaya, Malaysia with strategic human resource management, organisational culture, and firm performance being his area of expertise.
